Upskilling

Our NALA days can only run with the assistance of everyone attending. There are lots of jobs that need doing, and the more people that know how to do different things the more smoothly things run. We would love for everyone to learn how to do more things and are happy to help you learn.

Some of the jobs include (not an exhaustive list):

  • Setting up courses:

  • Map reading and putting markers on the ground as indicated by the map

  • Carrying the markers

  • Moving equipment to the markers

  • Measuring the course

  • Securing equipment with pegs and/or tunnel bags

  • Scribing (recording results)

  • Judging

  • Lead running

  • Callboard

If you are keen to learn a new role, perhaps even one that seems intimidating, please tell us.

If you are willing to coach people in learning a new role, we'd love to know.
