What is NALA?

The National Agility Link

The National Agility Link Association (NALA) provides a monthly agility competition that is completed at your local club.  It provides an opportunity for regular competition with minimal travel (assuming you live close to your club), and the environment is much more informal than a standard competition event.

It's also a great stepping stone between training for dog agility and starting official competition. It's especially suitable for novice handlers and novice dogs, with the courses set at entry level (Novice / Jumpers C).

Once per month the Whangarei Dog Training Association sets up the current month's course at our training grounds. Our members run this course, and their results are uploaded to the national NALA results system. We run the standard agility course, plus the veterans/junior course and the month's agility game.
