The aim of Obedience training, is a fun and well balanced partnership between the dog and handler, while being put through their paces alongside other handlers and their four legged friends.

WDTA has a small group of competitors who compete at our shows and regularly travel to Auckland and beyond, representing our club at all levels of Obedience Competition.  We regularly achieve placings at shows.

New potential competitors are always welcome and helped along by our dedicated, friendly support group on Monday nights and our extended team on most Sunday mornings.

Notice for new competitors wishing to enter Championship Shows please click here for the NZ Kennel Club Rules & Regulations.
